MOVEMENT AND POSITION

MOVEMENT AND POSITION : -

Movement and position are the two most basic of complementarities of human existence. The ultimate essence of existence of Tai Chi. Both exist relative to each other and there is no transcending them. Position ends when movement begins and movement ends when position begins. This may happen very quickly or slowly. The whole Universe is expanding centrifugally. This movement must have begun from a position. That may be taken as the primordial atom and then the Big Bang. This movement must end sometime. This may happen at extremes of expansion.

If we are unable to locate the extremes of expansion this may already have happened. This stoppage of expansion may again last for a nanosecond or infinity but again the movement must start centripetally till it reaches it end in the Primordial Atom.

If we appreciate the cyclicity of existence this must be apparent to many. However the second part is rather difficult to appreciate. It is the movement in position and position in movement. Even if the Universe stops expanding the movement within will continue. Its like when a person is dead the molecules within continue to move making their escape by the process of disintegration till they occupy some other existence.

Human beings are called “beings” exactly for the same reason. They are in present continuous tense till they are alive. This continuity is there due some as yet unappreciated principle called “Life force”. This is holding its position in spite of all the changes appearing in the exterior of the human beings. This position within this moving, changing form is what makes life as we see it.
