WHAT IS HEALTH?

WHAT IS HEALTH?

Health is the ability to enjoy every moment of life without any cause. Health is unrelated to outside circumstances. It has no "because". Health is also a process like life. It is not a state which is permanent once you attain it. It has to be maintained by remaining alert about the internal and external environment. Appreciating the subtlest changes in the " milieu interior" is most vital component of health. Our body definitely becomes old but we can remain youthful and healthy. However remaining alert is definitely not remaining agitated about health. Remaining agitated about health is definitely unhealthy. It is energy losing. An alert person is not frightened of his body. He appreciates the signals given by the body. An agitated person is frightened of his body. He is always on the look out for some disaster related to the body. He is always trying to avert disasters with the help of some external means. He checks his body functions repeatedly. Any variation in the report about his body function makes him crazy. He tries to bring the level back to so called "normal" and then waits for something else to happen. He goes on doing health check ups which never tell about the status of one s health because they CAN NOT. An alert person knows that health is so personal that no external gadget can declare him healthy. He never lets anything go to the level of disaster. He knows things far too early and immediately balances the equilibrium. It is a very enjoyable process. There is absolutely no fear involved in it. He knows that it is the only thing which can be called really his or her "own" thing. He continuously tries to understand his body which is in fact a replica of the macrocosm. He understands the universal designs with his microcosm. He is bemused by the immensity of the internal as well as the external universe. He knows he can never grasp it but tries for the heck of it and what an enjoyable process it is !!! Females naturally know their body better than males. Their body changes can be appreciated by them really moment to moment. Male bodies are comparatively dull and it takes lot more awareness on the part of the male to appreciate his body. However there is the danger of females becoming oversensitive about their bodies and then falling prey to external agencies. Males tend to become even more dull and do not respond till disaster strikes. Both have to create a balanced attitude towards their bodies by understanding the opposite elements of their bodies. A female body has a male component which is dormant and unexpressed. Same is true of the male body. Our bodies are simply assemblies of five elements through the fusion of male and female cells. Some unexplained force determines the direction of its development. Therefore a male has to appreciate the unexpressed female in his body and the female has to appreciate the male, this establishes the symmetry. We tend to use the dominant part of the body most of the time neglecting the non dominant portion of the body. We have to become more aware of that part to establish functional symmetry. Our ability to perceive the internal and external universe must become keener and keener till we are able to go with the flow of these universes without a slightest resistance on our part. Resistance to this flow creates blocks in our awareness and loss of awareness is invitation to discomfort, disease, accidents and anything which is detrimental to health.
